All Kiwanians are invited to the MidYear conference to be February 22-23, 2008 at the Doubletree Guest Suites Lexington, 2601 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40509. Kiwanis International President Dave Curry will join us and there will be a 5K Walk as a fundraiser in his honor at the conclusion of the conference on Saturday afternoon. The suggested minimum contribution per walker is a very affordable $10 per kilometer - $50 per walker for the 5K distance. Make checks payable to K-T District Foundation. This is a great way to raise money for the Kiwanis International and K-T District Foundations and honor International President Dave at the same time.
Full Registration for the conference, which includes the registration fee and four meals and is postmarked by February 3, 2008, is $90.00 per person. After 2/3/08, full registration is $100.00 per person. All Kiwanians must pay the registration fee of $20 ($30 after 2/11/08 or $40 at the conference) even if you choose to have no meals or have only selected meals paid additionally. Return your registration form to the District Office with your check. Our goal is to have as many clubs as possible represented this year at Mid-Year Conference to show our support and Kiwanis spirit.
There will be Club Leadership Education (CLE) Training for 2008-2009 Club Presidents and Secretaries. Please indicate on your registration form if you are planning to attend the Club Leadership Education (CLE) Training so there will be enough training materials on hand. Presidents and Secretaries - notify your incoming officers for 2008-2009 of the chance to get a jump start on their training. If a Kiwanian is attending CLE training only, the fee will be $30 for the training which includes lunch the conference registration fee will be exempted if attending CLE training only.

prior to January 28, 2008. Request the KY/TN District Kiwanis
group block rate. Room reservations made after January 28, 2008
will be provided on a space available basis. The room rate this
year is $99.00 plus taxes. Current tax rate is 13.42%.
