Bowling Green Mayor Elaine Walker welcomes Kiwanis
convention (left photo) while pianist provided accompaniment for
our songs.
The banners of the clubs of Division 14 and the banners
of the newly formed Kiwanis clubs in the district were on display.
Representatives from the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club
worked both at the registration desk and the delegate certification
desk.
The clubs of Division 14 collected a large number of
door prizes which rewarded the Kiwanians attending convention
sessions.
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club posted several posters
describing club activities.
Bo Shafer, past international president of Kiwanis,
and the K-T District Governor Alcide L. Porell gave special
recognition to the newly formed clubs in the district.
John "Bud" T. Lane , chair of the
Finance and Fund Raising Committee reviews the budget recommendations
for 2007-2008 with his committee.

Workshops were held on a variety of topics; a Key Leader
workshop (left photo) provided a visual description of the 2007
Key Leader Program. The memorial service, honoring K-T Kiwanians
who had died during the past year, included a song performed for
those who were hearing impaired.
A number of Kiwanis committee meetings were held throughout
the hotel.
The Kiwanis Chicken Queen took advantage of lulls in
the board meeting to sell tickets to the 2007 Kiwanis Cookout
at Constitution Square State Park in Danville, KY
The hospitality room gave members a chance to visit
and to eat snacks provided by the Bowling Green Walmart.
Waiting for their turn to report at board meetings
also gave members a chance to visit.
Alcide L. Porell, Governor of the K-T District
receives a plaque for his service from Mark Garman, immediate
past Governor of the K-T District.
