Dear Members:

I am pleased to announce that the K-T 2007 District Convention is ready to go! A tremendous amount of effort to make this the best DCON ever and all that we're asking of you is to get your club to Knoxville, Tennessee in February!

Enclosed in this packet you will find all the materials needed to register and attend this year's convention. There are a few changes that I would like to bring to your attention. First, we are holding this convention in conjunction with Kiwanis Mid-Year. This will allow you to carpool with your sponsoring Kiwanis Club. Second, t-shirts are optional this
year. If you would like to get a t-shirt (or even a few for your club), the cost will $10 and they are guaranteed to fit!

If you are unfamiliar with District Convention, let me briefly explain to you its purpose. Every year our district comes together to elect our next district board. The board plays an integral role in maintaining the success of the Kentucky-Tennessee District. With this in mind, I encourage you all to consider running for a board position.

If someone is considering running for a district position, he/she must contact me and the present District Board Member. All addresses and phone numbers can be found in your Directory. The following offices (and the present officers) are open for election: District Governor (Chelle Hatmaker), District Secretary/Treasurer (Jenny Halter), and District
Bulletin Editor (Bryan Dunn), Lt. Gov-East (Jessica Ketron), Lt. Gov- West (Marty Pendleton).
