Kentucky-Tennessee 2006 Circle K Western Division Rally

Circle K officers and members from the Western Division of Circle K met at Maryville College for both officer training, participation in a service project, and social interaction. Schools in the Western Division are: Cumberland College, Lipscomb University, Middle Tennessee State University, Western Kentucky University, and Vanderbilt University. The Lt. Governor West for 2006-2007 is Martin "Marty" Pendleton from Vanderbilt University


James Hobbs, past K-T governor and current District Administrator and Vanderbilt Club President Tori Rollins handled registration for the western division fall rally.

The Western Rally Icebreaker (left photo) had participants playing musical chairs as District Sec/Treas Jenny Halter leads them in "Have You Ever?" During the "Have You Ever/" Icebreaker (right photo), Governor Michelle Hatmaker asks everyone present if they have ever wrecked their parents' cars.

One of the interactive exercises at the western rally was to meet with buddies and to write things found out about buddies on the paper and then to share this information with others at the rally. Making presentation, (l. to r.) are: Shandus Valentine, Sherlyn Umayam, and Jonathan Harvey. Jonathan and Shandus are from Belmont University (a prospective new Circle K Club). Sherlyn is from Cumberland University.

The service project at the western division rally was to make blankets for the local veteran's hospital. Working in the right photo were two girls from Middle Tennessee State University. Working on a blanket in the right photo were (l. to r.) was a CKI member from MTSU and Rachel Vanderburg from Cumberland University on the right, with another girl from MTSU on her left (I think).
